Imagine adding to that 2nd line a Vatarano or Lindholm or Guentzel lol. If we keep the lotto line and 3rd line intact, then improving that 2nd line, they will be very very hard to play against. We could have 3 20 goal scorers on that 3rd line and maybe a 20 goal scorer in Hoglander on the 4th line

I'd prefer another quality d-man.

Nothing to cry about. EDM is better in every metric besides save % and shooting %

You realize that shows how useless those stats mean in the grand scheme of things right?

Vancouver is top or near the top of every stat that actually counts.
You watch them enough to know how often they take the perfect shot instead of racking up useless shots.
Your also aware that rebound shots skew anyltics and since they seldom need a rebound it's somehow a negative according to some models.

Vancouver's forwards are operating on another level this year and it's exposing how stupid anyltics in hockey are.

Vancouver is proving all the doubters wrong this year folks. Well...to be fair, there was legit reason to have some doubts, but they are shining bright so far and the haters are salty AF. They absolutely beat NJ pillar to post a few nights ago (regardless of NJ's injury woes) and they are running a train on the NYR tonight so far. I almost feel like it's a safe bet that they make it past the first round at the minimum in the playoffs.

They ran the train in the first game against the Rangers too. The refs handed the game to them though in OT. I'm still pissed about that.

I predicted last summer that we'd make the playoffs. I saw the pieces falling in place. But this success? No freaking way.

Canucks have 2 goals from their bottom 6. Rangers none. That's basically why the game is out of hand on the scoreboard.

Without the kid line this teams scoring depth is kinda pathetic. Pretty good chance no bottom 6er they're icing is going to hit 30 pts on the season. It's huge credit to the top guys that they are where they are in the standings, but the depth issue has to get fixed otherwise this team ain't going nowhere.

It's unfortunate that Jersey has been hit with the injury bug. They would be a good test as a fully healthy squad

It's unfortunate and it would of been a great matchup but what can we do? A good team has got to take advantage of an opponent with a depleted roster and that's what Vancouver did. Never take 2 points for granted. I can't tell you how many times NJ played down to so-called 'lesser' teams on paper and pissed away 2 points.
