We know, that's just how Vancouver plays. They don't Pepper teams, they had like 10 high danger chances and buried.

Who's we? I'm a canucks fan and I watch plenty of canucks this year. Our high PDO is NOT just because we turtle after we get the lead (which is what you implied in the post i responded to). It's because we are a possession team and not a shot generating one, with great goaltending.

Edit: our PDO actually got worse as the game went along. Not better.

Maybe other NHL teams should copy Canucks style of offense. Instead of shooting from all over the ice and hoping one of those low danger shots go in, they should actually make plays and passes for a high danger shot

Yeah this is true and where I think some of the advanced stats miss the boat. With that said I think theres a happy medium. I think teams like carolina that throw the puck on net from every bad angle is also dumb. However sometimes canucks pass up shots quite often because they would rather pass, or maintain possession until they get the perfect chance. Its tough to do that consistently but I know players have mentioned thats how they want to play.
