Vegas is a good team and can end it. They have some injuries too. I have no idea what to think of any team that comes out of the All-Star break

It's more than some meaningless streak though. It's a 4 point game. If Edmonton wins, they are 3 points back with 5 games in hand. Lose and 7 back and 5 games in hand.

i still remember CGY just guns blazing a few years ago. Hot and on such a roll and looking great. I don't know what they did on their break, but they looked the complete opposite after lol. I remember there were rumors of Monohan and Johhny partying it up. Superbowl is in vegas this week too.

I wouldn't bet on Vegas tonight. First, the Oilers seem to regularly beat the Knights in the regular season. Second, it's a big game for the Oilers who are trying to claw their way back to the top, but the Knights probably view it as just another regular season game. Third, until about March 1, the Knights are focused on one thing and one thing only, which is golf. After March 1, the Knights will finally start to get serious about hockey, but we're not there yet (trust us, we go through this every year).

I suspect that the Knights' primary focus tonight will be the same as it has been for the last several months, which is try to get some of the kids ready in case they have to step in for injured players during the playoffs.

The only thing in the Knights favor for tonight is that for the last several days we have had heavy rain, so the boys are probably pissed about having to play in the rain on soggy courses.

And when you think about it, the Flames just jettisoned two huge distractions. Lindholm wanted out and that loomed over the team. Also Dube. Maybe they will go on a bit of a run
