Vegas I think wins tonight and ends the Oilers streak. But they also have 3 minors called up.

Vegas is a good team and can end it. They have some injuries too. I have no idea what to think of any team that comes out of the All-Star break

It's more than some meaningless streak though. It's a 4 point game. If Edmonton wins, they are 3 points back with 5 games in hand. Lose and 7 back and 5 games in hand.

i still remember CGY just guns blazing a few years ago. Hot and on such a roll and looking great. I don't know what they did on their break, but they looked the complete opposite after lol. I remember there were rumors of Monohan and Johhny partying it up. Superbowl is in vegas this week too.

Wouldn't that be something? Kuzmenko regains his scoring while Huberdeau becomes his set up man. Flames don't have a one shot scorer since Toffoli.

Sharangovich can rip it pretty good but I don't think he finds seams and quiet spots in the slot as well as Kuzmenko does. I think part of the reason Huberdeau has struggled so much in Calgary is because the Flames just didn't have guys on the same wavelength offensively as him.

Schieflie is stud. Watched the Jets play 3 straight against Bruins • leafs • leafs before the break. Schieflie was not in line up. The Jets stunk for all 9 periods. Scoring 2 goals in the three games.
Without Connor for 6 weeks they never missed a beat. Tore up the league. Not a knock on Connor but Schieflie is the engine on this team.

yes there's a bit of a connection there. Quite the energy north-south by the Flames and they are making some very good lateral passes too. Lots for Swayman to concentrate on and track
