Could be concussed. Don't have to be hit in the head for the impact to affect the brain.Correct call in the Islander game. Looked bad initially but clearly got him mostly in the shoulder.
It's kind of refreshing to see you of all posters getting nasty on the leafs. As you've truly defended them forever.
This is first time I have noticed leafs fans actually not being overly deluded.
That though scares me. Maybe this will be the year they get it together in playoffs (still doubt it)
Sens outplayed caps that first with nothing to show.
It's one of those plays that needs to come out of the game. He's very clearly getting ready to shoot a puck.. that's stick on puck... Player is in a very, very vulnerable position and if it is shoulder first, it's a nano second.Doersn't look like a head shot. Shoulder to shojulder.
Agreed. It is legal by the rules but it shouldn't beIt's one of those plays that needs to come out of the game. He's very clearly getting ready to shoot a puck.. that's stick on puck... Player is in a very, very vulnerable position and if it is shoulder first, it's a nano second.
Now you have a very serious head injury for no reason.
the NHL continues to do this the wrong way

IMO his head was not hit at all. The contact on the shoulder was enough to jar his head.To me, mostly in the shoulder and not all shoulder is still problematic. The result of the play speaks for itself...his head took the blow even if he caught some shoulder too. It was a really dangerous play and should be a major. I dont think there would be uproar if it had been called one. I wont be surprised if he gets fined either.
And if you wanna say its legal by the letter of the rules, then he at least needs to answer for it. Its not like a heavy weight wanted to fight him...it was Farabee. If he just accepts the fight everyone moves on.
I agree on the point about accepting the fight with Farabee. To me, mostly in the shoulder and not all shoulder is still problematic.
