After watching what the Avs did vs the Rangers and needing to have Blackwood basically steal those 2 points, not sure if I even mean it as a reverse jinx anymore. This team is in some sorta mood of just not bothering to play hockey as of late, I dunno maybe I am too negative

Looked that way until the team abandoned skating hard and working hard, stopped defending, can't score a goal, make me want to blind myself instead of watching another pathetic PP attempt. No accountability from Berube.

Same group of losers.

Nothing to do with that. Woll was winning them games they had no business winning. They've consistently been the 2nd best team for 6 weeks. Outshot, outworked, but managed to beat teams with solid goaltending and timely goals. While Woll has had a rough few games, the team has played like complete shit.

54M powerplay btw, 18th in the NHL.

Not at all. I've supported these frauds through a lot. Collapses, losing to a zamboni driver, getting shutout in elimination games, year after year of embarrassing their fans with gutless hockey when it counts. All because the team has shown the ability to play the way it takes to win.

But it is clear at this point, they do not have the will to do that. I am talking about the core, not the rest. There are some great players on this team that would make any contending team better.

But when they are supporting a rotten, entitled, lazy, soft, weak, spineless, cowardly, gutless group of f***ing losers like Matthews / Marner / Nylander what can they do? Even Berube is not able to hold them accountable because they cry. Fans boo them and they cry. Soft babies all of them

But hey, maybe year 9 will be different? Let's run it back and pay Marner 15M why not

Woah there. I’m no Leaf expert, but they’re in first place. It’s the typical January doldrums that lots of teams go through, esp those that have banked a ton of points.

Also, would be real cool if yinz could beat the Devs tonight, m’kay?

Playing the neutral non-Leafs fan, it's just a tough stretch where teams with solid first halfs of the season tend to lose steam for a week or two. That and Woll is a bit overworked.

It won't do much good for washington. Ovy is fading. They can't bear Ottawa.

It's kind of refreshing to see you of all posters getting nasty on the leafs. As you've truly defended them forever.

This is first time I have noticed leafs fans actually not being overly deluded.

That though scares me. Maybe this will be the year they get it together in playoffs (still doubt it)

Sens outplayed caps that first with nothing to show.

No penalty... I bet you that Tsyplakov wishes it was 5 and a game because something bad is going to happen to him,
