Well A) it isn't specified that I can't draft them, just says you can draft 2013 players, and B) they aren't added to the sim till after a season of play, so they won't be there till 2015 at the earliest, so who cares if I want to use up spots on my minors team?

People care because what does the worst team get if they can't get #1 overall in any of the draft? Plus, McDavid would have been long gone by now had most people known 2014 was eligible. The rule makes it seem like it's only 2013 that's eligible considering it's a sim league (where there's usually an entry draft each year). 2015 or not, I would have considered drafting him right around when I did Mackinnon. Just saying it really isn't fair to anyone if this is going to be allowed.
