francis246's Top 10 Superstar Rankings (Season 6)
Player Details | Previous Season Rank | Francis' Notes |
1. LW/RW, Matiss Berzins | NR | The big 6'6" winger is quickly establishing himself as a household name with the Leafs. Climbing up the depth chart and proving he can produce in a secondary role. Had a significant 2nd season in the NHL. |
2. RW/LW, Pavol Palffy | 7 (^5) | Palffy has really held his own in the NHL since making the jump. He's been very consistent and can produce offensively. What would probably put him at #1 is if he can start to score more goals. |
3. G, Trusty Patches | 2 (ˇ1) | Patches has simply been the best goaltender in the series at the NHL level so far. He had a hell of a season this year and helped Carolina win a big number of games when he started. |
4. RW/LW, Herold Van den Berg | 4 (-) | Just a hell of a season for Herold! He continues to impress. He went down to Rockford in the AHL and just dominated 31 points in 25 games. Then came up to the Blackhawks and had 34 points in 55 games a Rookie. Expect him to climb up these rankings. |
5. RD/RW/LW, Rockeem Maivia | 3 (ˇ2) | A little drop for Maivia but honestly he really had a hell of year too, he put up a cool 41 points and made his Men's International debut for Team USA. He's really starting to embrace that #1 defenseman role! |
6. RW/LW, Nico Gallowitsch | NR | Making his debut on the top 10 list is Gallowitsch who had a pretty successful 2nd year with the Flames, his goals, assists and points totals all went up. He had a 13.2% shooting percentage. I think he's going to be a fast riser. |
7. C/LW, Radek Stanek | 8 (^1) | A slight jump up in the standings for Stanek, despite his point totals have been decreasing steadily. He's still having solid campaigns but he had a really low shooting percentage. So I'm hoping next year he's going to have a better offensive year. |
8. LW/RW, William Buche | NR | Buche joins the Top 10 list! I think Buche is really underrated, he's starting to show he can be a premier play maker in the league. He's going to keep improving and become more consistent. |
9. C/RW, Andy McDonald | 9 (-) | Andy has had some tough times in Kansas City but he's starting to take advantage of the opportunities presented to him. I'd really like KC to give him a chance higher in the lineup to see what he can do. |
10. RD/LD, Karst Van Der Schaaf | NR | Karst is starting to impress me a lot. He's putting up great numbers as a 3/4 defenseman on the Winnipeg Jets. He had 26 points and is only project to get better! |
