HF Board Update questions/issues thread

The one positive about the update is that it only took about 47 tries to log in. Had it been 50, I might've been a little annoyed.

"you didn't enter the captcha"

No, mf'ers, the captcha didn't load. Then when it did load, it didn't work and let me log in anyways.

It's no coincidence that HFBoards updates just as Landy had to go for surgery. I don't know what the connection between the two is, but I know there is a connection and it is sinister as f*** and I'm all for it
 
Holy shit, I am finally able to log in. What a gong show this update has been. Absolutely loathe the design.

Also what is with the "likes"? We Facebook now?

LOL at the Avatars getting smaller and smaller over the years. You would think it'd be the opposite.

Hopefully they've at least made the necessary adjustments to prevent HF from being the only website on the internet that freezes my computer with a few tabs open.

What the bloody hell is this? Why change something that wasn't broken in the first place? Why make the avatars smaller?

This looks like it was strictly made the for the phone and I don't know why...

The avatar thing will be fixed eventually. It’s on the list but it’s low on the list right now

I imagine there's a few more tweaks that will show up in the next few days. That's usually what happens when they change the software.

Hopefully a better border separating the sticky threads and a better contrast between the look of the quotes and replies are high on the list.

Let me take a look when I’m not on mobile. I couldn’t find an ignore thread option but it will be easier for me to mess with it on my PC. If there’s not an ignore thresd/forum option I’ll send it in to be checked out. Could be awhile before smaller details like that get hashed out though, they have some bigger fish to fry right now.

Yep. The contrast between sticky and normal threads is on the agenda too.

Yeah, the changes will be fine once they fix the borders between threads/posts. The site seems to be operating more smoothly, which is nice, but the lack of borders is super annoying.
