My memory sucks but I thought Nill was after Howson was fired and it was Bob Murray (who went to Anaheim) that snubbed us after Doug was finally let go?Do any of you long timers remember back to when GM Doug MacLean was fired and Jim Nill, when he was the Asst GM with the Wings name was mentioned as a possible replacement. Am I remembering that correct and does anyone remember what happened? Was he just not interested or what? I think from time to time if he had been our GM would we maybe have the same success as the Stars?
