HF Board Update questions/issues thread

At the top of the page there's a drop down menu that says Nav with a lightning bolt next to it. That's the closest I can find for what you're looking for.

Right now, for me at least, that just navigates to "new media" and "new posts," and basically everything new. I'm sure it'll eventually be added, but I'm just looking for a quick way to switch between forums, e.g. a drop-down menu that lets me switch between the Avs forum, to the trade rumour forum, to the soccer forum.

You're talking about the site two merges ago right? It did and I am not sure what the point of it is. I hope it gives us the option to minimize it or something.

Click on where it says Nav itself and not the dropdown arrow. That brings up all the forums and subforums within them.

I'm seeing the desktop version of the site for the first time, before this I only saw the mobile version, which IMO has it's problems. I don't like that you have to kinda page over in order to check out notifications.

Otherwise I like the new look, and I"m thrilled that there are now dark themes.

It's barely been 24 hours, and in that time there's already been some things improved, so I imagine over the next few days/weeks we'll see more QOL additions.

There's the HF change thread on the main forum where a lot of people are putting suggestions in and apparently some of them are already being implemented, so mods are actually listening to the users.

You're right this does look better than the normal dark theme.I don't know why I never thought about using an extension before. Thanks

I would like to switch to the dark theme but I find there is not enough contrast in color between the threads title that I have read and the ones I haven't read. I find that too annoying.

Yes. However, there is no indicator at the top or bottom of the thread that its actually live. There may also be some bugs with it, with some reports that the threads were live for some but not others. So just fair warning there may be some kinks to work out in the next couple days, but its all being looked at.

I'm ok with the desktop version, too, it's honestly better. The mobile version is a little bulky or something. But.......Its fine, I'm fine.

Yeah, I'm sure you guys are dealing with all kinds of small and large issues aside from the bellyaching. I understand upgrades sometimes break things. I wasn't around here long enough to have strong feelings about content, but it's certainly different. I noticed it was game day and there's no live thread yet. (hint hint )

What a awful new platform. On mobile its not even usable. I can only login half the time. I'd probably just echo a ton of other complaints so i'll leave it there. But they should switch it back.
