I was just looking and saw Sgarbossa and Miro both scored in third to put Bears back in front. And Trineyev before that. I like him on third line. Like that whole third line!

Why did Iorio move away from Ness. Thought they were a good pair and i like top pair minutes for Iorio. And damn our Dee is banged up again both in WASH and Hershey.

The d has been a glaring weakness in the very early stages so far, which is a rarity for the Bears. Two games already with 30+ shots against, odd man rushes out the wazoo. I will second @DWGie26 in also singling out Vinny, I think he's looked great so far this year and seems to have found a bit of an offensive gear; besides scoring the first goal of the season, he nearly scored on a clever wraparound tonight. HHA has been a disappointment so far imo, an adventure seems to happen every time he's in the d zone or touches the puck, and not in a good way.

Bogey's gotta get the call soon. He's been great so far this season. Goal and assist tonight, another goal for Miro
Definitely see him as a future NHLer. He plays such a steady mature game for somebody his age. I'd say if we move some expiring contracts at the deadline he's definitely coming up, and to stay.

I think it's about shaking things up. Nelly was irate after the loss to Cleveland. Thought he was going to throw the mic at his post game presser. He's trying different combinations to stabilize and reduce the poor defensive play. Iorio has fortunately not been one of the problems. I'm hoping this is the year he stays healthy, logs top 4 minutes all year and starts seriously pushing for a spot in DC next camp.

Nice win by the bears. And ironically the final picture of win from Bears Twitter is pic of Iorio.

Solid early morning news. I think this pretty much aligns Ness to be captain if Big Mac stays up. Gives them at least two season of a guy wearing the “C”
Yeah I think there's 0 chance anybody else gets it. Him taking pregame skates, practice and being in the locker room non stop last playoffs even though he was clearly done for the year was all about how big of a leadership hole it would have left if he didn't.

I noticed that Bogdan Trineyev has climbed Pronman's 2020 re-draft. He's ranked #83 (has a chance to play NHL games tier) versus his draft position which was #117. Not a huge jump but nice to see him recognized. While the Caps went the UFA route this offseason, Raddysh (1), Duhaime (2), and Dowd (1) are all signed for either one or two seasons. There could be fourth line spots up for grabs if guys like Trineyev and Rybinski are ready for them.

In the same list, Lapierre was ranked #29 (drafted 22) and put in the 'middle of the lineup player' tier. I would have him higher within the tier, but I cannot quibble with him being in that tier (although I do think the tiers are poorly named).

Sweet move by Iorio. At least he drew a penalty. Love to see him have a big development year. He will not be waivers exempt next year.

I’d still think it is best for org and for Miro if he stays in Hershey for an extended stretch. but if they can’t figure out third line he could head to washington sooner rather than later.

And Suzdalev still hasn't played. I just checked to see if he was on the Stingrays roster -- he's not.

He needs to be playing somewhere. If that's only going to be 1 of 6 games (or fewer) in Hershey, then he needs to be sent elsewhere to play.

I haven’t seen any cuts to SC. But that has to be coming.

And sure… we can Sudz to SC to get playing time. This is his first pro year so maybe he isn’t ready until 23-25 years old. Disappointing he isn’t further along but timing is different for everyone.
