God damn. SO much to like.

MacDermid showing exactly his value as a depth guy with a different dimension. I don't know who 50 on the Ducks was being a clown crosschecking everyone in the face but Mac put him on his ass and haven't seen a peep since.

Bjornfot next to Doughty...one period is enough. I want to see that all year. Having a better skater than him on his own pairing is insanity. The play gets moving immediately with those guys, it's phenomenal. Can't just play keep away from doughty if his partner is already the 2nd best skater/puck mover back there.

Lizotte is more than assured a spot, he might be our 2C...nothing he can't do. Johnny Hockey lite with way more spunk/aggressiveness and no propensity to die on ice when he's slashed. Watching him go man up with Josh f***ing Manson and harass him for a half minute was something else.

Amadio showing what made him so elite in junior and may finally be able to do it vs. men with man strength--dude will not lose a puck battle. NOt just takeaways, but on the wall, second to none at winning possession and making a quick play out.

The bad...Walker/LaDue are just the same guy. Really disappointing to see LaDue hasn't progressed and that Walker looks to have regressed.

That;s what I'm seeing....the other 'good'. Having a REAL, NHL coach. A lot of this good stuff we're seeing, is because of TM here, making everyone accountable...pushing everyone...teaching...putting in a better forcheck... telling vets he expects more...and telling kids to target a vet to work and do everything to take their job. This is the shttt! If WD was still here, would you being seeing all this good? No. No structure. No respect. No clue how to manage and coach...or teach.

No matter if the Kings finish 35-35-12 or even 28-42-12, the Kings are headed the right direction and NO GOING BACK. With all the great youth coming on, this thing is going to turn around...and be fun to watch!

Great drafting - tons of character, leaders and skill! Turcotte, Bjornfot, Kupari, Thomas, JAD, Mikey Anderson...and most of them wore letters. Even Dudas and Thomas are now captains. Thomas emerging into a player now...and Kaliyev is going to make lights turn red in every building within 2 years from NOW.

So, they are doing that how? By holding up signs?
Partially. Raising awareness is a thing. Not sure why that’s so upsetting given they had about 24 hours from the shooting in TO to the game. Now they’ve had time to plan they’re doing more. But here, let me help you out with what you missed by those 3 minutes of the intermission being taken up with that segment:

“I liked our compete. We’ve gotta get the puck in behind their D and bang bodies. Get the puck and bodies to the net and get a greasy one.”

Boy I sure missed that.

I was a LaDue truther a couple years back but I think we waive him or at least have him as #7.

I stuck up for him a lot too but it's weird to see a guy just flatline for two years. Expected at least SOME growth.

Did he change his curve or something? Everything is going right through his stick tonight.

Carter is getting back to the way he used to be. Kovalchuk looks like a man on a mission.

MacDermid is a throwback Matt Greene.

Love Bjornfot more every time I see him.

Walker >>>>LaDue

He’s also missed a decent amount of his development due to his injuries. The most amount of games he’s appeared in a season since turning pro is 50, and that was between Ontario and LA and four seasons ago.

I feel like he's still recovering from injury and he's trying to prove he can play, as he's seeing the writing on the wall.

I wish Toffoli would show some of that awareness. Bobby Ryan spells "intensity" better than he.
