I thought Toffoli was the Kings best forward over the second half of the game

Telling you Kings won't go far with Quick getting out performed by a goalie like Dansk. And a defense that has a dude like Ryan on it. Rookies got walked on D too often. Preseason. Kings need to replace Quick though.

He still has too much over movement at times. Campbell and Petersen do a better job of being more square to shots.

I would like to see Lizotte get a shot at playing with Kovalchuk. A center who can play away from the puck and jump into lanes late is exactly the kind of player Kovalchuk needs.

Ryan is shit. Rookies show promise. Nothing to say that any of the under 21 crowd should be in the NHL right now, however.

Too many breakaways, and a very mediocre game by Quick. Bad defense all over. Should have had a better result.

Quick is way past his prime. Kings should have found a way to get rid of him. Still having him is holding back Campbell and Petersen.

I didn't like how he got faked out of his skates on the Stone goal and on the OT breakaway goal he decides to squat low, take a dump and let Marchessault easily go top corner. Campbell/Petersen would have stopped both those goals!

I hate to say this but the Kings might be stuck with Quick, like the Rangers have been stuck with Lundqvist. Unless there is a team out there that their #1 goes down long term due to injury, I'm not sure there is a way to trade Quick contract unless it's for another bad contract(player).

Quick in his prime before the injuries took its tole on him would have stopped all 3 Vegas goals(he used to be that good)! I'm afraid we now have a $5.8 million per year goalie that is on a backup goalie level now with this team. Quick is on the wrong team now. He should be on a Cup contending team that needs that vet #1 goalie to not over do it too much.

Dansk was the difference. A $675k(when called up to the NHL level) 4th string goalie badly outplayed a $5.8 million 2-time Cup winning goalie!
