They gave season ticket holders a free subscription to the app but you sign in and it looks like your not signed in until the game starts for some reason. Confused me for a while but they said that would fix soon?

Cant get the app on my Sony TV so have to screen mirror. So cant use my phone/ipad. Its a f***ing disaster.

Its not hard. Get your games on TV. They have absolutely botched this year. Im not renewing my tickets next year. Nobody cares to go! Im giving away tomorrows game because its not even worth trying to sell.

It's cheaper, and you're getting 10,000 times the content. Is this app even available on TVs and Firesticks yet? Or is it just an Android/Apple thing?
I'd assume only on App Store and Google Play. Getting apps for those different TVs probably will never happen.

When Panger is off the broadcast can we get ANYBODY but Ms. Chelios ? Every comment is about Bedard this Bedard that even when he's irrelevant to what just happened.

This is Chicago for God's sake, ANYBODY would be dying to be an analyst on these broadcasts!

Slide Troy Murray from radio and give a newer person a shot alongside Wideman, ANYBODY please.

Agreed, she ruined the broadcast, was like having to sit thru Vosters again

something about her just grates on me, I cant stand listening to her.
Yeah it doesn't seem like she really knows that much about hockey. Maybe she does, I don't know. Did she ever play? Also when I listen to her dad, it doesn't sound like he knows that much about hockey either.

I'm all for offering women a chance to be broadcasters as there is nothing to say that they can't be good. What's interesting is in other sports, women tend to do the play by play but in hockey, they tend to do color. I don't really understand why.

dont want to sound sexist but I would prefer a male ex pro player as the color analyst. This DEI is going to far. and why her, was Eddie Olczyk's nephew or Savard's second cousin not available, a stupid hire IMO

Its a combo of nepotism and DEI when it is the daughter for a position that is traditionally male
Most of these broadcasters are know-nothing, talking heads, company men, anyway. Trying to have more representation is fine with me unless they’re outright awful.

I’m done with pre/post games in general as I get more value from HF Boards

I too could care less who is on the pre and post game. There have been some horrible ones on radio like Jesse Rogers who was the worst trying to provide analysis and Pash and Jaffe who were company mouthpieces.

I like when Troy Murray used to jump in on the post games and you got some acutal analysis

She isn't a DEI hire just because you don't care for her and would rather it be a man.

Holy f***ing shit.
I don't love how this thread has turned into sh*tting on Caley Chelios as she seems like a nice person. In my opinion, she is an adequate, passable, replacement level pre/post game studio analyst and a poor color commentator on live broadcasts during games. I think she's overly positive, bordering on fluff, doesn't provide much insight, and talks about Connor Bedard way too much.

I don't know why she was hired but it was most likely to be in the studio and that's fine. But if someone of her exact talent and knowledge was a man and their last name was not Chelios, I'm pretty damn sure they wouldn't have that job.

I agree with you here. No problem with her on pre and post game.

i don't know why you'd think this when we aren't even a year removed from chris vosters being the regular play-by-play guy. i think it would be a stretch to say he had more knowledge or talent, and he was supposed to talk more than color!

I'd argue that Vosters had a lot more talent than we give him credit for. But he didn't know a lot about hockey and his brand just seemed off. I was starting to like him more and more and thought he was getting better, albeit still nowhere near as good as Rick Ball. He was clearly working as hard as anyone to get where he needed to be and just didn't have enough time.

I think hiring him was an attempt to reach a younger and broader audience but he ended up alienating the current base because he wasn't 'hockey' enough.

She did some pre/post game coverage for the Bolts before coming here, so she didn't just get her position due to her father's history with this organization.

Yeah, she's not great at color commentary, which is why she's only filling in. Did yall already forget about Steve Konryd???
