Hawks, Bulls, & Sox new channel is Chicago Sports Network (CHSN)

I went dark for a little bit so I honestly have no idea who Colby Cohen is. Don't love Charlie either but I think he was originally hired as a video intern and moved his way up the ranks. But yeah, he seems like a guy who the Blackhawks like in that position because he doesn't ruffle any feathers.

I find his fake Canadian accent to be annoying too. I mean he's from Elmhurst....

Congrats on missing out on Colby Cohen. If you watch the NCAA Frozen Four, I'm sure you'll hear at least a half-dozen times how he scored an OT goal in an NCAA championship game some 20 years ago.

I'm all for offering women a chance to be broadcasters as there is nothing to say that they can't be good. What's interesting is in other sports, women tend to do the play by play but in hockey, they tend to do color. I don't really understand why.

Leah Hextall was doing pbp for a season or so, she was horrible. I think in time you'll hear more women doing it.

I have never read or listened to a CHGO anything, so this next part doesn’t mean much, but I didn’t realize they were even big enough to have a round of layoffs.

Always just assumed it was a couple of jerkoffs with a podcast or something.

CHGO Blackhawks is Jay Zawaski, among others. Most of their stuff is behind a paywall, so I don't read much other than their twitter and Bluesky posts.

That's a long way back. He's been around the Hawks for a long time, for sure.

I don't think I was ever on Biscuit Babble.

Maybe I am mixing up board names, that was the predecessor board to Franks board that everyone migrated to. I thought you were there but then again that was a lot of years ago.

Franks board was my first exposure to internet chat boards, iirc. But then again, yeah it was a long time ago and I might just have forgotten being on the Babble.

I believe they were the same board and Frank took over and the name changed. Enough on this for now. Our word salad buddy unfortunately migrated here too, but I have long since blocked him and a few more and am glad I did

They aren't big for the Hawks and frankly I find the CHGO Hawks guys annoying. But they are pretty big for the Bears. I just consume their free stuff.
 
Can someone search twitter and find out what Boysen said like 2 hours after Rocky Wirtz died?

They were separate boards. I think BB became a private board. I posted a lot on Frank's board but I rarely posted on BB. I remember arguing with Giovi a time or two. There was a guy from Lethbridge that was a great poster but I can't recall his name.
