Maybe, but I see some untapped offensive potential there.

It's possible. He hasn't been a scorer for a few years now and watching him play, I'm not surprised at that.

I think if he's going to be more noticeable in a positive way, it will be by having a mean streak come out as he gets more comfortable. He looks much steadier tonight than he did last night already, so I suspect that if he gets a decent stretch of games here he'll start being more and more assertive with his defending.

I don't see any offensive touch though. Maybe if he has a cannon that we could use on the PP he'll get some points that way.

Seriously if you’re a vet on Chicago why are you trying? You have your cup, fat paycheck, and the organization already raised the white flag when they fired your coach like 2 weeks into the season

The vets haven't really been the issue.

Keith is having a good season that play aside. Toews is roaring back. Kane is Kane.

The problem is, they have nothing else.

there are a few things ive learned so far this season:
1) we really, really, need a top end defenseman
2) boo nieves should be our 4th line C coming out the other end of this process
3) resign kreider, no questions asked (100% most controversial topic)
4) deangelo needs to be a key piece on the backend
1) Hopefully, DeAngelo can become a #1/2 d-man. Most likely ends up as a #3/4, but sometimes, he gives me hope that he can be a top pairing guy.
2) Agree
3) Maybe, but his average hockey IQ worries me. It depends how much money he wants, in my opinion.
4) Agree

I’ve worked with guys like ADA ...he doesn’t look you in the eye when ur talking to him and seems like he is not listening. It comes off as disrespectful but if he produces you need to learn to deal with it

I don’t think he will ever be a power play guy. His shot is pretty hard, but not hard enough. And not very accurate. However, I think if he can develop his shot more, he can possibly pile up some points with it. He can also move the puck pretty well, although his vision is just average. We will see if he can improve that.
