Have the 'scary' version of the Devils arrived?

I was super high on them to start the season. I loved the Dillon and Cotter additions.

I still think they could use a little more size in the bottom 6, but I had them as a 2nd round type playoff team before the year started. I think that's what they are, we'll see what they do at the deadline.

They’re walking all over the rags right now.

Rangers have been in a funk for like a month straight at this point. That's a team that's obviously checked out on the coach, but the team insists on scapegoating players (Trouba, Kakko, Kreider) and it isn't working. Fire the coach and get on with it.

For a veteran goalie, Markstrom still has a lot to prove, especially in the postseason. The Devils as a whole are a well constructed team but it’s going to come down to what happens when inevitably a playoff series comes down to goaltending.

Hold your horses. The rangers have been done since day 1 of this season. The 12-4-1 start was a mirage. Analytically and eye test theyve looked horrendous all season. Rangers will be selling at the deadline.

Theyve gotten boat raced by #32 in the league twice in the past 2 weeks.

Devs top guys are still too small to make noise in playoffs.
Hows that barely a minor penalty against Rempe doing?

Keefe is great at getting a lot out of teams in the regular season and great at developing talent to play two way hockey.

He has yet to prove he can outcoach another coach in a playoff series.

Lmao Jack Hughes still out there for the power play

Sorry but where's the actual humor in that? Why are you posting this juvenile-sounding commentary in a new thread on the mainboards and not in the Gameday thread designed for this type of banter? Oh look the Devils are beating up against a struggling, non-playoff team that's so 'scary!' that the rest of the league better be worried about this, right? Oof.

In fariness to him, kinda hard to do that when your top players don't show up in the playoffs.

We keep hearing the from bitter Toronto fans who need someone to point the finger at. The truth is the team itself has yet to prove they can play past the first round. So I guess we’ll see who’s right in April. That is unless both the Devils and Leafs get eliminated in the first round haha.

Facts are facts. I've given Keefe nothing but love. Facts he was the 2nd best coach in every series he has been a part of. You see the difference in games 5, 6, 7

People in this thread not realizing how dominant the Devils have been this season, especially December. They aren't just winning. They are destroying teams.
