After 2:
The Good:
The team has mostly carried the play.
Reunanen's skill level is apparent. Sharp outlet passes. Seemingly the most skilled offensive HFD player. He occasionally makes a dangerous pass, but overall the strongest. A little undersized, but fine.
Schneider and Cuylle have both looked good at this level. The speed of the game doesn't seem to be an issue.
Schneider has also flashed offensive instincts a few times. Has played well in the D zone. His skating is strong. Easily he and Tarmo were the best D.
Like Reuschoffs size and speed. Can't tell if there's anything else yet to his game. Similar to Gettinger.
Khodorenko has decent hands.
So does Richards. But not sure if they'll have the speed to get to the next level or not.
The Bad (or far less good?)
Team is very much so working on their timing and touch. Very rusty. Eventhough they're carrying the play, they're not getting many high danger chances. And they're not really showing much vision.
Barron. He's not moving his feet enough at all. He's mostly afraid of the holding onto the puck. He's appeared to be overwhelmed by the pace so far. He's gotta learn how to move his feet and grind it out. Especially at the AHL level. Can't really judge him beyond that, because he's not moving his legs enough to know what he is.
Brodzinski. Did something happen to him? When he skates it looks like his blades have no edge. Just moving his feet fast, but he's not going anywhere. I don't get him. I really don't. Didn't like him in the one NHL game, don't like him here.
