Patrick Sieloff is in Pack camp. He's a tough, stay-at-home D with plenty of AHL experience and even a couple NHL games. He seems like an actual candidate for an AHL contract.

Isn't he the guy who got kicked off the Senators for concussing Clark McCarthur in training camp after he literally just returned from a previous concussion?

Chance that he is being auditioned for the taxi cab?

interesting note re Sieloff
among the "try-outs" (not including the draft picks), only he and Taylor are listed here
Team | Hartford Wolf Pack
not even Vesey, who is 3rd year pro
maybe as those guys have more AHL experience (Vesey only 25 career AHL games...
[slight correction, the goalie Brassard is also listed at pack site...

Coincidentally I only have a few days before my auto-renew kicks in. I'm not sure I want to pay for this season. It's especially annoying because I believe the single-team package costs are the same regardless of the team, even though we play 24 games and other teams play over 40. The actual cost is really minimal, it's just a principle thing for me.

Pack posted some photos at Twitter from game vs PBruins

Pack apparently begun releasing try-outs:

Roy Returns to Everblades
... Hugo Roy has agreed to terms for the 2020-21 season.
Roy, 23, played with the Everblades last season, where he totaled 26 points (14g-12a) in 56 games. The forward was most recently at training camp with the American Hockey League’s Hartford Wolf Pack

How sweet is this setup for the Providence Bruins at the rink they will play in away from their regular arena... love the level of detail!

Pack can't even post the team's line up for a pre-season game on Twitter... you do the math.

FYI it seems Brassard may have signed AHL deal w HWP, given how below is worded:

ECHL Transactions - Feb. 4
Wheeling: Add Francois Brassard, G assigned by Hartford

apparently McBride sent somewhere by HWP as well

Taylor had been on ECHL contract
Sieloff a NHL UFA
Dmowski an AHL UFA (if that is a thing)

It will be really interesting to me to see how Schneider and Cuylle do and if Garand gets any action. Better if they play somewhere even if they're a bit over their heads. I'm actually thinking Schneider will probably do okay.

too bad WHL Edmonton resumed so soon that we won't get a Schneider/Robertson pairing this month

So the only non-affiliated Rangers are Alex Whelan, Mike O'Leary, Paul Thompson, Ryan Dmowski, Jeff Taylor, Zach Giuttari, Vincent LoVerde, Patrick Sieloff, and Mason Geertsen, so 9 out of the 28 aren't either under contract with the Rangers, or as for Schneider, Cuylle, & Garand, they're draft picks yet to sign their ELCs.

Thanks,
also McBride was re-signed by HWP, not sure where he was loaned,
and it seems the vet G Brassard may have been signed by Pack, given the wording of his assignment to ECHL at league Transactions page

Gona utilize the free viewing this weekend the AHL is offering. Pondering signing up for a package, but just dont know if I’d be able to watch that many games.

Same here, I haven't looked at the scheduled times, but Rangers games take priority, and when my Houston Rockets are on, I have Rangers on TV, Rockets on iPad on the NBA App.
