Prospect Info: Hartford Wolf Pack/Cincinnati Cyclones Thread: Part XV

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I seem to remember last year the Pack going to Laval for two back to back games with pretty much the same result. I don't know why they have the Pack scheduled for two away games on back to back nights in the same place. Laval is pretty much a satellite city of Montreal. It's not like it's out in the middle of the Gaspe peninsula or even that far away.
It's to cut down on transportation costs and travel. The Pack have a weekend back to back in Hershey in April (I'm going to one of the games), and they played two games in Charlotte although I can't remember if it was back to back or there was a day off in between.

you don't see him being ready for an everyday NHL role? or you don't think he'll ever be an NHL player?
I unable to answer that. He’s on the right side of 22. Everything I see tells me that he wants it.
My biggest concern is that he is not in the right situation to succeed.
He should be on an AHL team that isn’t always on their heels. He should be on a line with a play making forward and a forward that excels in corner work.
He should be on a team where there are 3 lines that can press so the opponents can’t key on his line.
Othmann will have a larger struggle than he should have if he’s not getting offensive opportunities.

Roob had a big hit in the second period and got into his second fight answering for it. feels like a theme with HWP this year.

They have some big boys down there. Whether it's justified or not (I don't think it is) those guys are going to be targets and have to respond after they throw clean hits.

I think Roobroeck can be a bigger Cuylle. 3rd line upside maybe 2ed. Has way more talent than Rempe and Edstrom. Can he skate better than Edstrom and Rempe?

No need to over or under project Roobroeck at this point. Looks like he’s progressing nicely. The org is doing the right thing getting these young forwards plenty of minutes in Hartford.

He knows what he’s doing with the mitts off, he should keep using the big frame to throw clean hits and scrap if he has to
