That's ok. Goal #1 is to make the playoffs. They'll also get prospects coming in like Othmann, Berard, etc. who should hopefully be able to step in and make a difference as well.

The Rangers traded Austin Reuschhoff to Nashville for future considerations. Reuschhoff fell out of favor and has been scratched lately. With William lockwood coming in there clearly was no room for Austin.

Clendening can run a power play. The Pack are terrible on the PP. or this could be a precursor to moving zack jones. We will find out.

Not too long ago i recall a NYR deal (but not who/when) that was NHL futures in one direction, but seemingly linked to an AHL level for 'considerations,' in opposite direction between the NHL trade-partners' AHL teams, so net result was a swap between the AHL affiliates' rosters

I was thinking since we don’t have cap space to bolster the NHL roster, Clendening is a bit of insurance/experience stashed in the AHL. If Friedman clears I could see us try to add him through another AHL deal. I don’t think this is a precursor to moving Jones or Hajek per se. We just need more depth for the playoffs. And possibly after Wednesday night, We may need to call up an LD on an emergency basis.
