Berard with 11 points in his last 10 games.

It's really impressive that this team continues to play well. Lost Emberson before the season started. Lost Harpur for the season. Emberson is hurt. Brodzinski has been up with the Rangers. Other players have missed time or been up with the Rangers. They lost their coach. And they just keep chugging along.

What is Berard's upside?

I did not watch yesterday's game but I went back to watch the pregame and the goals.

The good news is that The Pack announcer, Alex Thomas, when listing the scratches said Edstrom was now day to day rather than week to week which is what he had been saying. Berzola, Nash and Pekar are still week to week.

You could tell watching the juniors that if he would be able to work through the physicality of pro hockey that Berard would be an NHL player.

He's very Marchand-lite. I mean when he came into the league, not now. He has that kind of skill though too.

I would really like to see him get a shot sometime soon, but it may not be until next year's camp.

We won't need the Pitlicks, Wheelers, or Boninos of free agency. Berard, Sykora, and Othmann can all make this team in the fall.

It won't happen because our organization is conservative AF when it comes to shit like this and Lavi is a bad veteran's dream but Berard would probably be a better option to play with Zibanejad than 90% of what will be available at the TDL.
