Berard playing fantastic hockey as of late. 11 points in his last 13 games.
Without even knowing what’s on the other side coming back?I walk from that deal. I’m not interested in trading away any of those 4.

I agree. If the Rangers were to spend some futures capital whatever is coming back must be an add to long term core. That’s a fair question. I’d prefer to hang onto all of them at this deadline based on realistic options. No rentals for which they would be included for sure.
Great shift by Berard and his line the last minute of the first. Too bad the goal was disallowed.Anisimov, Trivigno, Blidh
Korczak, Elson, Rempe
Leschyshyn, Sykora, Belzile
Henriksson, Berard , Othmann
Robertson, Brouillard
Makey, Scanlin
Hillman, Hollowell
Garand
3-1 Springfield after 1.
Rempe took a boarding penalty behind the play and T-Birds scored right after the PP expired.
Cross ice pass attempt by Belzile was intercepted and resulted in a breakaway goal.
Rebound/bad bounce got past a diving Hollowell for another breakaway goal.
Once again Hartford playing from behind early. Some loose sloppy play.
Othmann and Kalynuk fight. Othmann wins by a decision. Trying to spark the team and it worked.
Belzile with a goal (14) on a scrum in front of the net.
Berard had a goal waived off with 09 seconds left.
New uniform (at least to be) look great.
Love that he’s in there trading punches with 2 T-Birds at the same time.Boy Berard has taken the puck thru the center of the ice/slot area with speed the last 2 games more than any NYR has all season. No fear.
Kid is gonna be a pain in the ass to play against.Read Berard’s lips on that last scrum with Dean behind the Springfield net.
“You want me, I’m right here.”
Lol
I think he's ready to make the jump, but playing the rest of the year in the AHL will still be good for him, especially if Hartford can make the playoffs and go on a run. I expect him to seriously challenge for a spot in camp next year.Kid is gonna be a pain in the ass to play against.
I haven't watched as many Wolfpack games as some on here but to me he has been the most visible player not only in terms of having a motor but also with skill. That includes Othmann.I think he's ready to make the jump, but playing the rest of the year in the AHL will still be good for him, especially if Hartford can make the playoffs and go on a run. IMO, he's the most consistent. That's what makes me think he is ready. But more time in the AHL will only serve him well. Let him challenge for a 3rd line role in camp rather than plugging him in as a 4th liner now.I haven't watched as many Wolfpack games as some on here but to me he has been the most visible player not only in terms of having a motor but also with skill. Yep. I hope all the players continue to develop in Hartford for the rest of the year with an extended playoff run. Maybe give Edstrom a few more games up with the big club otherwise let the other continue to develop.IMO, he's the most consistent. That's what makes me think he is ready. The Othmann fight for anyone interested
