Interesting quote from Beleskey about last season vs this one:
No. Huska was and he gave up 24 on 29. One was an EN goal. Was Igor in net for the 6 goals against?
In terms of "closeness" that's what they've looked like all season. If anything, it's just a drop-off for both guys from their impressive peaks. But a .30-.40 GAA difference and ~.15 SV% difference has been what we've seen all year.Goalie stats are starting to separate a bit more:
Shesterkin: (7-3-3) 2.06 GAA / .927 save %
Huska: (4-1-3) / 2.43 GAA / .911 save %
No. Huska was and he gave up 24 on 29. One was an EN goal.
It was 5-3 when they pulled him.Why would they pull the goalie down 5-0?
It was 5-3 when they pulled him.
Nope 6-3I thought the game ended 6-0 for some reason.
I see the Mariners are pretty mediocre this year with 17 points from soon to be 18 games. What is their "Maine" problem this year?4-2 Growlers last 5 minutes of regulation
depends on the night, but from what Riley Armstrong has been saying very inconsistent play would be the "Maine" issue, some nights it's no compete level as Brick would say on the Boston telecast, like last night you're seeing a Fuel team that was 2-9 on the road, the three in 4 @ Norfolk they had Norfolk was struggling, not sure if it's overlooking the opponent independent of what the record or stats areI see the Mariners are pretty mediocre this year with 17 points from soon to be 18 games. 5-2 Growlers seal it with an empty net G
both teams had the DC uniforms, ours was "Aquaman"Thanks for updates. Elmer with a goal, 3 shots on goal and even, Gropp with an assist, 4 shots on goal and even, Crawley no points -3, 3 shots on goal.
Agree on all points. But I’d add that players are also welcome to improve the atmosphere too. That’s the other half of the equation. It’s coaching *and* leadership from within the team. Thus there are Captains. It’s a two-way street, as they say.Yeah, I saw that. Doesn't sound like guys were very happy with McCambridge. Every mention of last season by guys that were here is about how much better the atmosphere is. Which is good and bad, I guess. Bad in the sense that it's unfortunate that we as an organization allowed it to deteriorate like it did.
