Chytil gets another assist on this oneChytil Day and Di Giuseppe second group out and Day scores the winner after dominating that shift by himself
If I'm remembering it right, it wasn't from a block, he and another player got tangled up and went down near (if not into) the boardsI wonder what happened to Rykov. Sprained foot from blocking a foot? I never got that one...
Turns out he got hurt in the game I recored, went back and watched it, he went down at the top of the circles to block a passing lane or shot and the attacking player fell over him close to the net and rode Rykov on his stomach feet first into the boardsIf I'm remembering it right, it wasn't from a block, he and another player got tangled up and went down near (if not into) the boards
Day is only 21 and shouldn't be an afterthought. His end to last season and beginning to this one have been strong.
With our left side stacked in prospects, he's dropped down the list quickly, but he's still super talented. Hartford defense will be loaded with LHD soon, once Rykov is healthy enough to play.
No matter how bad he sucked in one game, he shouldn't be scratched unless he's hurt or they think he needs a break. Hartford exists to serve the Rangers.
No actual information yet, could be his play yesterday, could be banged up, as I saw @ManUtdTobbe mention on twitter: Hartford lists everyone as healthy scratches unless the injury had been made publicWhy was Kravtsov scratched?
Oh, and one thing I want to say before I forget: if Chytil keeps playing like he did tonight, he'll be back in the NHL before the new year
I don't know if it was message sending or sending them down to actually work on thingsHe will be back before november imo. Our schedule allowed them to send him down and send a message without missing too many nhl games.
And scratching young players is usually done for a reason and can be a learning experience. It sucks, but it's not a huge deal unless it becomes a trend

strangeness at AHL stats pages, which has cascaded to other downstream sites like HockeyDB
it seems that Crawley (fyi along with Gropp, Taylor) was scratched for both games this weekend,
Crawley does not appear in the 'game sheets"
Gamesheet: Charlotte at Hartford - Oct 5, 2019
Gamesheet: Bridgeport at Hartford - Oct 6, 2019
yet the team stats show Crawley with a game played, AND a 2 minute penalty

(this one is funniest, it lists his season as 1 GP and 2 PIM, BUT does not list either game under his 'Game by Game' log

another dumb thing is at HartfordWolfpack.com>Team>Team Stats,
the stats display is defaulting to '18-19, you have to use season 'drop down' menu to display/view '19-20
