These players should probably all be available, as the Flyers enter into a rebuild. Who would be interested, and for what? Flyers would likely only be looking for Blue chip prospects, high draft picks or players under 22 years old. The Flyers currently have no cap room, so keep that in mind when making offers. They would likely be willing to eat contracts if they are sending salary out.

Current contracts

Carter Hart - 3.979M for 1 more Year - RFA, 24 Years old
Travis Konecny - 5.5M for 2 more Years - UFA, 26 Years old
Ivan Provorov - 6.75M for 2 more years - UFA, 26 Years old
Travis Sanheim - 6.25M for 8 more years - UFA 27 Years old
Scott Laughton - 3M for 3 more years - UFA 28 years old
Sean Couturier - 7.75M for 7 more years - UFA 30 years old

If the Flyers are actually open to doing it, I'm guessing the Kings would want to do Kupari + Durzi + Petersen + picks/prospects for Provorov + Hart. Unless they can extend Gavrikov. Not sure that Kings and Flyers would be able to agree on the picks/prospects part though.

Would Philly be Interested in a Hockey deal for DeBrincat? Not a prospect or pick but may still fit the age group to a degree

I think the Sens would be interested all 4 of Konecny Laughton Couturier and Hart

If those are the players we are targeting which is fine, we know they are going to be expensive. Adding a cap dump to the trade seems counter productive.

Maybe we should look to deal Petersen to Chicago in a separate deal first.

Durzi/Spence + Kaliyev + Turcotte would likely be closer to a start

Is Couturier going to play again?

Not saying they shouldn't but has Flyers management sad they've committed to a full rebuild or is it just the fans wanting it? Also you're going to have to greatly lower your expectations there. Not that those are bad players but with how tricky contracts and the cap are right now it's possible the Flyers could play a 'please just take any of these guys for free' game and not find a home for everyone.

Konecky and Hart to Habs
Farrell, Harris, Calgary 1st and Allen

Not enough. No reason for the Habs to trade for them, either. Not like those two would make the Habs deep. They'd still suck

Both teams say no

As a base (WHICH MEANS THERE MAY BE ADDS ON EITHER SIDE)

Konecny, Laughton, Hart

for

Marner

Philly flips Marner @50%. Could get a real good package for that.
Not going to lie, from the outside that's interesting, but sounds like the flyers might be selling rather than retooling

I remember when Couts was going to be a Selke contender and Philly had the best group of young d-men and D prospects in the league.

And I remember when WPG was getting 202X Stanley Cup champions? covers with their epic prospect pool.

Rebuilding is hard. And then when it doesn’t work and you have to do it again? Yikes

I also think a Marner- Philly scenario could be interesting. But if it happens Provorov should be a main target for the Leafs. Interesting idea to retain on Marner in a second deal, that could be a deadly move for a contender.

I think Laughton, Konecny, Hart can be moved quite easily. Provorov as well to a lesser extent.

Couturier and Sanheim have crazy long term that'll probably scare some teams off.

Right the Kings needs are goalie, left handed D and a center to eventually replace Kopitar. While that center might be able to be done in house, too early to tell. They don’t need another winger, especially of the sniper variety, they’d more need a power forward type.

If LA was involved in any trade around the Flyers it’d be for Hart which is what they desperately need a young starting goaltender.

A lot of risk to hope we could then flip 2 years of Marner for the equivalent of 3-4 1st round picks

Is Couturier going to play again?
He was skating in practices as a full-contact participant at the end of the year, it was just so late that it didn't really do anything for the team to get him on the ice, so they decided to keep him on the shelf and have him go through a full offseason and preseason first.

Now, will he be the Couturier of old? Who the heck knows. But he's currently cleared to play, and looking like he'll be part of the team next year.

Flames would probably have interest in Konecny. 16th overall for Konecny?

Wouldn't be enough.

Is Couturier going to play again?

Yes, but who knows how well he'll play after missing two whole seasons and having multiple back surgeries. No one is going to trade for him until he comes back and shows he can still hang.

I’d be all over some sort of basis of RNH for TK

Not really a trade a rebuilder would be interested in.

If he does get back to his “old self” many teams will want him.

Couturier would be a perfect fit on the Leafs.
