DL and his "5 year plan" is a completely diff story. A story that I don't want to get started on (a sad story indeed).. but yes. all we can do is wait for JJ. I personally think he is gonna come around, but like I said we con only wait and see.. its not like he's playing awful hockey either.

He was minus 4 against Detroit with no shots on goal, hopefully that's his rock bottom.

I think Hammond said something about DS being with the team today at the xmas thing and then the team?DL making the announcement tomorrow. It might have changed or I could easily be wrong but that is what I thought was up.

What a silly article. Burnside advocates infusing new blood to seemingly motivate the offense (which is reasonable to do) and then concludes the article by pushing Stevens as the right choice. :shakehead Makes zero sense

LOL exactly what I was about to right. What a bass ackwards article

And another things about this one....

Wysh said that Boudreau would have been a abetter choice because he would get more out of the depth the Kings have then Sutter.

Does he know how little depth Sutter had in Calgary? and how much he was able to get out of it?

I mean...Shean Donovan had his best statistical seasons under Sutter...as did Chris Simon, Martin Gelinas...

and he got great stuff from guys like Chuck Kobasew, Steven Reinprecht and Marcus Nilson.

I think he is capable of getting a lot out of players. At least history would suggest that

"From what I hear from players, he's a very passionate guy and he's very intense,'' Kings winger Justin Williams said. "I'm looking forward to a coach like that.''

Anyone else think that Williams was really tired of Murray?

Nice to see its finally over, this is what we need to get the best out of everyone on the roster. I dont care if the offense isnt world beaters as long as we're winning, and to do that Sutter needs to kick some butt

That and he was probably tired of watching the same guys get a pass from Murray over and over again when they were not doing what they were told to do.

Maybe. He's worked under coaches like this before though like Hitchcock and Laviolette, so maybe he just prefers that style?

My favorite quote was this one from the blogger Mike Chen:

"His structure and attention to detail are second-to-none as a coach (his actions as GM...well, let's leave that out for now), but his unwillingness to change when the context evolves is his fatal flaw. He may take his boat to the head of the pack, but when heavy winds knock down his sails, he'll go down with the ship rather than find a solution."

If you change the word coach to GM, that describes DL perfectly.
