Unfortunately I couldn’t catch the game but I taped it and will catch up sometime. I did see the Bulldogs post with the second Thomas goal. Great to see Panwar work hard along the birds for the puck and get it over to Thomas.

I liked Testa the last couple games. Still look good today?

Great to see Lardis get a goal in his Bulldogs debut.

Interesting seeing our Bulldogs across the OHL on the scoresheets tonight:
PTBO: Hayes 2 goals (1 star), White 2 assists.
LDN: Humphrey empty net goal, Winterton empty net goal (assisted by Diaco)

…and of course the highlight goal by Pharand against the Bulldogs lol.

Lloyd in today for VV. Andy in for Nelson.

Starting to leak out that they will be in Brantford next year. Some building upgrades need to be done first.

The Brantford Bulldogs. Well, at least it won’t be too far of a drive to go catch a game.

Last time I was in that barn was when the Brantford Motts Clamato’s were playing Senior A hockey there. That was late 80’s, I believe. Jeebus, I’m getting old. 😆

I was just being negative. There is some talk that to secure a 2 year lease in a different building they may just decide on a permanent move.

Until something is announced I'll continue to be worried.

Yeah, this is my worry as well. It's a shame, and really no fault of Andlauer, who is a great and underappreciated owner. That said, a history of sports owners saying one thing and then pulling the rug out on fans has left me more then a bit paranoid here, like that little voice in the back of your head. That said, a large, newly renovated facility if and when it gets built you would think would be appealing to return to. Especially if some of the new condo projects and people living next to arena where the city centre used to be happens.

If they go to Brantford that is great because I don't see them staying there past 2 years.

Lardis is going to flourish in Hamilton.

Patrick Thomas continues to blossom.

It seems like Grushnikov has been told to rush the puck more because he's being noticably more offensive minded the past 2 games.

They could have easily won todays game. A lot of it was turnovers, but they didn't get the saves that they needed either.

When will Lloyd get a game?

Lloyd played today and was the obvious cause of the 3rd Oshawa goal.

A few things about him. He is very small, but really seemed poised and confident with the puck for the most part. He's a smooth skater.

Definitely needs to get stronger though...

They'd probably keep "Hamilton" much like Toronto Rock.

Unless its permanent change, then they'd probably just change the name all together I imagine

Not sure what to make of this one. First, I know nothing about him. From looking at his info, he’s an 18 year old former 1st rounder with less than stellar numbers. I also recall that London fans suggested that he could be a throw-in for Wright.

In terms of Hamilton trading a 3rd and 5th, unlike the other recent trades, I don’t see the plan with this move because Hamilton already has a lot of young blood on the team, and the existing young guys need ice time for development. Moving our vets bumped everyone up the lineup, and I could understand acquiring a vet (19 y/o or OA) to compliment young guys, but I question the reasoning here. Regardless, I welcome him to the team, and look forward to watching him.

That’s my initial thought and observation anyway. What can we expect, Knights fans?

From a Knights fan perspective, Bujold is a worker. Plays hard every shift and a good forechecker. Definitely has offensive talent, but like most youngsters in London, lower on the depth chart than was warranted and just caught up in a numbers game where he only played maybe every 2nd or 3rd game. Unfortunately, right or wrong, it’s just how the Hunter’s do business and bring along their young players. But they also tend to do right for that player if they can get them an opportunity elsewhere. Some more ice time and a change of scenery will do wonders for Ben.

I think it’s been referenced a few times but I’ll throw it here as well. Bujold works really hard but so does a washing machine.

He has good size and speed but has trouble winning puck battles and does not have finish around the net. Defensively he plays his position well and I could see him taking a step forward in becoming a PK specialist and a solid 4th line center.

Fair trade for both teams

Curious move for sure.

Especially since we have 5 '04s on the team. Donovan will be gone so that leaves us with 4.

I see Thomas playing as an OA for sure in a few years, but after that Xhekaj, Rebelo, and VanVliet (Malbouf too).

They may be hoping to catch lightning in a bottle and upgrade on their OA situation in 2 years (when they're hoping to compete again)?

I figured the Bujold trade might make more sense today. Based on the Knights’ fans responses, Bujold sounds like he has some similarity to Anderson but faster and possibly more defensively reliable. Great to see that Anderson gets to be part of a team that intends to go on a long layoff run.

I notice Anderson was a Ranger 9th rnd. draft pick originally. What kind of player is this kid?

I was hoping for more from Anderson this year, but for some reason it just didn't seem to happen.

Hopefully a change of scenery does him well.

It must suck for his family because they were at every game in Hamilton.

Maybe the change of scenery will help him. I felt like he regressed some this year. Like yourself, I was hoping to see further progression this year.

Best of luck with the Sting!

His main attribute is his size and he uses it. He’s physical and stands up for teammates. Not a dirty player by any means. His size does attract attention from opponents and he does drop the gloves. Although he takes them as they come, he doesn’t really go around looking to fight.

Overall he never saw many minutes in Hamilton. He has been in and out of the the lineup, even recently, as a healthy scratch. Like Rounder8, I think many fans were expecting more from his this season, including myself. Hopefully the Sting can help him develop further.

Thanks for the reply. This guy would have fit in on the Rangers. They have no grit other than Andonovski and you don't go far in this league without some sandpaper.

Trying to fill holes on defense relatively cheap. I figured they would make a move like this today.
I thought so as well. Although I thought it would be someone with more OHL games played, it’s nice to have an older player around the younger guys. Hopefully Okitundu is more defensively reliable than some of our younger players as well.
