Lately it seems like every match I'm in has multiple quitters. They need to add more variety to the match-making options to allow players to play game-types they actually want to play. Too often if they get a match-type they don't want to play, they just quit right away.

Got a new controller and I’m here literally costing my team games single handedly lol. Just a potato.

They already have, a better option is to stop having challenges unique to objective game types. It could be why people are quitting but who knows. I primary play rank with a squad of friends so I don't experience it, nor do I see it happen on the other team. Quickplay it's fairly common but they will fill those spaces. What is worse is one deadstick guy.... when 25% of your team is not playing you're pretty much screwed.

Or just throw in a 10 minute ban for each first offense. That would end it pretty much immediately.

I think they already have a 2 or 3 minute ban, but yeah - they need to increase it to 10-15 minutes for the first offense.

I don’t think they do. I quit one yesterday Bc my friends didn’t load in for some reason and nothing happened to me. I mean it was one out of like 100 matches the past few days but I kinda wanted to see what the punishment would be as well and nothing.

Can't wait to get banned because I didn't want to stay in a 4v3 because some other jagoff can't take an L like a man. That happens all the time in the MCC and its bogus.

Maybe this game will be in a playable state by 2023 assuming anyone gives a shit by then.

Game is plenty playable to me. Still having a great time. It’s not perfect and no game is but the gameplay loop is too addicting. I’m mostly sticking to the Slayer, Fiesta, SWAT playlists where people stick around, and only really play ranked if I am with three other friends.

Most of your posts are complaining about the game. I know if I felt that way about a game, I would have left long ago. Nothing wrong with moving on to another game.

They really should have a death cutscene when you kill a boss in the campaign. Having them flop on the ground and the music go silent is so depressing.

They’re like 10 minute matches. Quitting ruins it for everyone. There has to be a punishment or anytime people felt like it they’d just leave and bam waste of time for the other 7 players.

Seems like the servers are having connection issues today. All the sudden I dropped out of game back to my Xbox home. Then the next match had like 5 people total leave before it even started. Not to mention trying to even get into a match takes multiple attempts.

Haven't touched the multiplayer in a couple weeks now. Been playing campaign and my favorite online mode is BTB but it's not worth trying to get into those games right now.

Yeah I’m actually to the point where id fully support a 30 minute ban first offense and then full day ban for each quit in a 24 hour period.

I’ve never played a game before where every other match someone leaves like this.

Do they even have a punishment for leaving in unranked matches?

I feel like unranked is DIDO like CoD.

In ranked, I think your 3rd offense within 24 hours gets a temp ban that then doubles in length up to 16 hours for every following offense.

Plus massive rank loss, obviously.

I think there is a punishment but not sure when it kicks in. They mentioned thats another thing they want to focus on when they get back. I will say in unranked I’ve noticed it does a better job filling the lobby now with a real person as opposed to a bot.

This is the first week I’ve come close to the weekly ultimate challenge, and the final challenge is “run 5 people over”. Kind of hard to do when BTB is in its current state.

The BR is quite OP’d in campaign, I pretty much perfect every battle against the lower-class Brute soldiers. The campaign is beastly though, 343 gave this game justice. However, I always picture what one more year would’ve brought to the campaign. There are some cheat sheets they did to save time like indestructible trees (compared to Forza IV or RDRII), lack of larger animals, and lack of weather environment/system.

I like the campaign, especially the linear sections. But I've noticed the open world kind of breaks the game. You can just bring a wasp and clear out any base with minimal effort. There's no hit scan in this game so none of the enemy bullets can reach you.

I cleared the entire map in like 1 hour after beating the campaign.

What did you play on? Because I’ve been skewered and rocketed out of the Wasp a handful of times. The banshees also give it problems.

I mostly just use the wasp to traverse the map more than anything.

Also, there are less enemies on the map after you beat the linear portion of the campaign so it should be easier.

I just beat the game. The story made absolutely zero sense to me. Did you need to read the books or something?

I read all the books and while they add some background info, it's nothing ground breaking. I was so disappointed in the story because I have so many questions (from the book and previous games) that were just left unanswered.

I think the campaign's story was mediocre. Most of the "big plot" events seemed to take place offscreen and were told to you in flashbacks, while your actual storyline was more of a transition to a new series of games. Makes sense on a technical level of trying to pivot away from the poorly received Halo 5, but not exactly riveting storytelling.

The gameplay however was top notch. Very much enjoyed it....up until my game ending bug of course.

To me the biggest contrast in weapons from multiplayer to campaign was the Ravager. That thing is a piece of crap in multiplayer, but godlike in the campaign.

I think you probably need some self control when it comes to certain games like this one. As I said in a previous post, you can go onto of Mortal Reverie, grab its AA gun right when you get to the open world, and walk around with that which they're calling the Scorpion Gun. I chose not to use it on this campaign run (playing on Heroic), but I plan on using it on my second run to get the achievements I miss.

Also this game not having fall damage is just so weird to me coming from every other open world game that does, even if Master Chief is protected with insane armour.

The Raveger is so useless in multiplayer. Getting the achievement of killing someone with a fully charged Raveger shot sucked and was basically just waiting for a teammate to weaken the enemy to the point where it was an easy kill.
