He reminds me of Josh Holden after he severed his wrist. The wrist shot, the power and accuracy is all but gone.
 
I just returned from the Chicago Game. He looks the shadow of himself. He still whips them on goal from the right circle but he misses or hits the post. Honestly no one look good outside of Demo and Pods.

Canucks needs to hold accountable for that, not pettersson.

They did the mistake by not have surgery on the wrist last season. Why?
 
Because Wrist Surgery would be a lot worse. He would have affectively missed the whole offseason without being able to shot a puck or work out.

At least he is starting to shot now, even if its not as accurate or powerful as it has been he needs to get more game reps if he is ever going to get back to year 1/2 form.
 
I've seen him rip some wristers this season, it's just rare.

Physically speaking, the issue seems to be that a gentle breeze knocks him over, and he seems to have substituted skating with coasting around.

Boeser 0 points in 6 games...... Petterson 1 point in 6 games

These guys need to play on a SC contending team to demonstrate how good they are...?...Thats pretty f***ing pathetic if thats the case...Great players play, and produce, regardless of coaches and GM's, placement in the standings etc....McDavid and Draisaitl (how many crap coaches have they had in that dumpster fire..?)..the Sedins,Kopitar, Crosby etc....In fact, most elite players don't care who the coach is..they just naturally do what they do....produce......You're a good player, and a competitor, or you're not... on a good team or a dumpster fire.

Elite players make lesser players look good...We're currently miles away from that with these two.

Blame the players who saved Jimmy's job a few years back. I hope they continue to suck untill we get rid of the cancer named Jim Benning.

Awesome, they will continue to suck..and then they'll just magically turn it around all of a sudden, because the team has a new GM...In reality, the player doesn't really have much contact with the GM at at all...and doesnt really care.

They should have traded Markstrom at the 2020 TDL...?...Huge swing and a miss. by you....Your hot takes are the gift that keeps on giving...Merry Christmas.:D

We could name it Jimbo's Big Book of Excuse, written by @Pastor Of Muppetz I think it could be a bestseller among Jimbo fans. You could follow it up with another book called "The Art of Shilling for Dummies". :D

Canucks ownership is at a crossroads. Do you let him spiral downwards or trade him for another potential superstar who is struggling (Laf or Kakko).

This amount of piss poor effort can only go on for so long.
