He would surely be able to create some offense but it's not gonna happen under this coach. Hope he continues to put up terrific numbers in Hartford and we get something decent for him. It's sad that it has to be that way. Kid is not gonna get a chance here.

Trust me the forwards deserve plenty of blame

I thought the first period the Kakko, laf and zib line were dominant. We should have had 3 or 4 goals

The difference between what we see with other teams and us is panarin having point blank and not scoring, on the flip side Caufield buries his chance

True...also players that continue to be non-contributors. Kakko, Lafreniere, Kravtsov. too much to ask for a goal maybe every three games or so? heck even a point?

Lafreniere is so bad there's just nothing there. Low IQ, low skill, low attributes.

Player development is not 100% on coaching no but im talking about the team in general. Under Quinn the team was at least fun to watch.

This team is an abysmal viewing experience.

It’s not all on coaches. Especially when you go 1st OA. If your going that high in the draft you need very little coaching to reach your ceiling. Unless of course you are just straight up a bust like Laf is.

lmao these takes always crack me up. Why even have coaches then? Its not them out there on the ice. Scotty Bowman didn't score any of those goals so remove his name from all those cups now.

This team is an abysmal viewing experience.

I think a lot of games just like this under Quinn get swept under the rug.

They had a chance to make the playoffs in 20-21 with like seven games left and they scored three goals.

The lack of any system whatsoever is certainly a large part of the 5v5 offensive woes. With or without the kids producing, this team has enough firepower to score consistently 5v5 in an actual system.

This is three straight coaches now where we're complaining they don't have a system.

I think the organization doesn't produce forwards that can play an NHL system.

Ortmeyer and Glass being in charge of that seems pretty problematic at face value. Our coaches and developers - including the head coach - are full of career 4th line plugs.

2 straight. AV definitely had a system. You can argue the merits of it but he had one.

Laf has not been good in front of the net, but the PP was brutal even before Kreider got injured. It’s been a middle-of-the-league unit all year.
