And I'm a huge Streit fan, but I don't care that he's a vet... he didn't earn his spot over Jerabek. Jerabek was our 3rd or 4th best defenseman, as far as I'm concerned. Feel bad for the guy.

He also only played like 4 games on NA ice. Let him play a lot of minutes in the AHL and get used to it. Schlemko is coming back soon anyways. I’d rather Streit sit in the press box.

I hope Habs' owner and management will think twice in the future before agreeing (or demanding) on such a pre season schedule. Just awful hockey wise. Too many games. Too many raw rookies and AHL level guys. Not enough time to have tye real NHL boys gelling together.

I agree about Streit and Benn, they are not looking great out there. If Mete sticks and Schlemko is back, we could start the season with Mete+Weber / Alzner+Petry / Schlemko+Benn
