Not sure if it's the worst I've seen of him, but it's certainly trending towards it.

Not a lot of motivation on the task at hand, for sure.

It's sad that Dach & Slaf are both having a tough start of the season, but if Marty was unforgiving on them, you'd all be screaming "MICHOUUUU ALL OVER AGAIN! BENCH THE KIDS, PLAY TEH VETS!!! FIRE MARTY!!"

It's either one or the other, and I'm super happy they get basically infinite redemption (for this year, at least). Let's build something special with Laine, I'm sure they're all fired up to have him on their line. Could be the fresh start one or the other needs

No we're not, not at this point, they've add more rope than needed. I'd put them all on fourth line minutes without an issue.

Therrien was starting youngsters with fourth line minutes not giving them any rope. There's a difference.

I don't know how old you are, but for me, there was a world of difference in my physical strength between 18-22, and like, 24-25-26 years old, peak physique. They don't even have man strength yet.

I think we're not used to have big bois in Mtl. They take more time to mature, and Dach has had multiple injuries to boot, so a lot of missed dev time. It took 7 full seasons before Kreider passed the 50 pts mark, and another 2 (9 total) before he exploded into the monster he's now.

Patience. We're not winning anything until, at the very least, Demidov, and one of our highly drafted Ds, are difference makers for this team anyways.

On his first game after missing close to a full year, you expected Laine to play 19-20 minutes on the top line ?

Let's be realistic here and let Laine get the rust off the wheels first.
Could take up to 20-30 games....
