Matheson also had no reason to smash the Isles' players stick into Guhle's face. He's just a stupid player.

What is he supposed to do? Let the player have is stick on the ice. Lighting the stick off the ice is an extremely common play. Iles player got to hold is stick more firmly that's all. I mean when you are young and climb one ladder of hockey you get that kind of play in the first game and people will tell you to hold your stick better.
