I'm watching the game tonight just to see Laine ripping shots, I don't have any expectations, if his presence can inspire Dach to give him the puck (and I don't understand the flak Slafkovsky is getting, he's struggling a bit but still produces), I'm fine with it.

I don't know how old you are, but for me, there was a world of difference in my physical strength between 18-22, and like, 24-25-26 years old, peak physique. They don't even have man strength yet.

I think we're not used to have big bois in Mtl. They take more time to mature, and Dach has had multiple injuries to boot, so a lot of missed dev time. It took 7 full seasons before Kreider passed the 50 pts mark, and another 2 (9 total) before he exploded into the monster he's now.

Patience. We're not winning anything until, at the very least, Demidov, and one of our highly drafted Ds, are difference makers for this team anyways.

Dach looks nothing like Kreider, except for his frame. His IQ and commitment are far more questionable. Look Kreider lined up 4 seasons of steady goal production before missing significant time to an injury and the comparison ended before then. If you're waiting in hopes of seeing Dach turn into a Kreider, I'd say you missed the boat already.

Caufield - Suzuki - Newhook are players taken 13th, 15th & 16th = Teen Line
