Based on some comments here, I expect him to score 4 goals tonight and single handedly help the Habs make the playoffs.

In reality I expect many to be disappointed. Still, something new to complain about. :)
I expect ups and downs. We got him on the cheap because he’s a reclamation project. Totally worth the gamble. But still a reclamation project.

Primeau might be the worst backup G in Montreal since Red Light Racicot. And to be perfectly honest, I’d prefer Red Light.

who gets catastrophically injured tonight to replace Laine on the IR?
Well, Suzuki has not missed a game since 2019, but writing that on a hockey forum might jinx him for sure so…

edit… 397 consecutive

Dach maimed in an unrelated incident before reaching the stadium

I didn't have much of an issue with Racicot until his final season in Montreal. He was so terrible that season, they ultimately traded Stephan LeBeau to Anaheim to acquire Ron Tugnutt.

Unfortunately, Tugnutt was terrible that season too, and just marginally better than Racicot was.

Armia isn't involved enough in the play to get hurt :(

Well, Armia is outstanding at missing the net, so I figure during the warm up, Monty is in goal, Armia lazily comes down the left side of the ice and fires a wrist shot that is wide of the net by about two metres. Primeau, who is in the right corner stretching, gets struck by the puck as it rattles around the glass and Armia lumbers over to see if he's okay, catches a rut, blows out his knee and then falls onto Primeau, injuring him.

Would really like to see the Dach line just dominate all game. Haven’t seen a line on this team do that in 100000000+ games.
