Like you said, we should have kept Kovacevic for another year & moved Barron. We already have Hutson & Matheson as offensive guys on the team. And Mailloux & Engstrom in Laval. We didn't need him.

The other options are Suzuki, Evans & Dvorak. And with Suzuki on a line with Caufield, no point putting Laine there with them, as well. Get a triggerman on each of the top two lines.

Dach has been playing better lately. So hopefully this gives him more of a boost. Same for Slaf. The wish here is that both Dach and Slaf are motivated to be with Laine.

Can't wait to see it though.

Thought Laine would maybe get 10-20 gamws to shake the rust for next year. Having about 3/4 of a season to get back on track is pretty incredible. Will probably be rough until february but it's all right. The important thing is to get momentum for next year.
