No matter the GM, no matter the coach, one thing that never change with the Habs is always getting bailed by the goalie no matter how bad you play.
I have never disliked a "good" habs player as much as i dislike him.

I thought there was a lot of promising signs tonight. Montembault, young d core, dach skated well. I don't know how many times we made a SLOPPY turnover breaking out, but it was beyond bad, but likely a fixable issue.

Yeah all will be right in the world when the leafs are in the basement again. It might not be soon but it will happen eventually

I don't understand Caufield's positioning in the man advantage. He takes himself out of the play.
Matheson creates nothing from the point. He's just a play resetter.
Slaf should create more mayhem down low, that would get the opponent thinking and the habs could exploit that.

Matheson played a great game outside of the PP.
He is a really good D man honestly, would be ideal leading a second pair.
Edit: Our whole D squad was solid outside Barron thinking about it.. Looking forward to some more Hutson all day every day

Liked the Habs physicality tonight. Lots of jam. Finished hits. Good grind and hustle all around. We weren't the better team but we gutted out the win.
