Despites the score it was a fun game, both teams look rusty but for a young team like the Habs, this win already meant the world to start the season.

Suzuki was completely invisible. 0 engagement from him. First line as a whole looked rather off at ES.

Dach picked up right where he left off. Which is great.

Hutson won't stop to amaze me. A couple of sluggish plays in his own end, but all in all, the transition plays he makes are just ridiculous.

Barron can't come off the lineup soon enough. Definitely way behind Struble by my evaluation.

Impressive showing by Motumbo and some flashes early in the game by the skaters but the team was clearly a step behind for at least 2/3 of the game. There’s still a lot of room to improve though. I’m looking forward to the next game!

Fun game even if it was low scoring.
Pace was good.

It was not always pretty in our zone but the team worked hard . We actually won the special unit battle even though that 5 on 3 was terrible.

ABB looked good.
Heineman not so much.
NHL record for Monty. Congrats Sam.

Ugly win but still deserved imo.
