Lol you're wrong mate. Just google Serge Savard entrevue in the news section, and it's the first one.

Not alternative facts.

The quote in question:
Je pense que Marc a d’ailleurs fait une erreur : il aurait dû faire le move il y a deux ans [durant ou à la fin de la campagne 2015-2016].

Translated:
"I think Marc made a mistake: he should have made his move 2 years ago (during or after the 2015-2016 season)"

I watch the OHL a lot and I don't know how many of you are familiar with Micheal Mcniven the goalie for Owen Sound. Undrafted but signed by the Habs. This kid looks like he could be the real deal. If he continues upward he could eventually be Prices' successor. He's amazing.

Yes Mcniven is the other hot prospect we have. We have two really good goalie prospects.

It's crazy how quickly some of us fall in love with a new goalie. Lindgren has had 4 real solid NHL periods under his belt.

So far so good, but let's not jump to conclusions.

People were in love in Montoya after his first 4 games this year.

People were in love with Condon for his first 8-9 games in 2015-2016

People were in love with Tokarski after his 3 reg season and 5 PO games in 2013-2014.

People were in love with Budaj during most of the 2011-2012 season.

Definitely looking forward to the Rangers-Hab series. Montreal can't expect their regular-season dominance to extend to the playoffs but Montreal should be very confident going into the first round.

If the Habs should move on, the second round would see a matchup with the Bruins or Leafs*. That is going to be very entertaining.

The NHL's bizarre playoff format definitely favors a team coming out of the Atlantic division. Only one of three very good teams—Blue Jackets, Penguins, Caps—will survive the Metropolitan side of the bracket.

* As it stands today

Take it for whatever it's worth, but on TSN 690 today, Tony Marinaro said that he's spoken to several scouts who told him that Charlie Lindgren is the best goalie not playing in the NHL.

And the only reason why the baby Habs might make the playoffs

I don't know what other teams have in terms of goalies. I remember a month ago or so people mentioned quite a few teams who had better goalie prospects.

From all i hear we have 2 potential studs in Lindgren and McNiven. Some seem to think McNiven's better. Heard nothing but good things about both of them.

Lindgren seems at the wrong age to be especially useful to the team. It's not like Price is over the hill.

McNiven on the other hand, I can see.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Lindgren wound up as a starter for another team.

Exactly my thoughts. There's something wrong with a franchise being in Sunrise Florida, period.

The NHL diluted the brand by expanding too aggressively. Two teams in Florida? The same season the Bolts won the Stanley Cup, fans could get free game tickets with a fill-up at Tampa Bay gas stations.
