I watch the OHL a lot and I don't know how many of you are familiar with Micheal Mcniven the goalie for Owen Sound. Undrafted but signed by the Habs. This kid looks like he could be the real deal. If he continues upward he could eventually be Prices' successor. He's amazing.

Montoya is 12th in svs% and 14th in GAA (that's including the 0.750/10 GA game) for goalies with between 10 and 35 games.

Lindgren is great, but the lack of confidence in Al on this board is something else.

If Lindgren becomes Price backup, the board will probably want him out before 2 years like we did with Condon, Tokarski, Budaj...

I suppose that's true. But more often then not, I think his checks are good hockey plays - he is rarely penalized for them; and in those instances, I hate players (and announcers) who think he should have to answer for a solid hit. If you don't want to get hit, go play ringettes
