To be fair, I don't think Dvorak ever wanted to be in Montreal. He's a good piece to attach a mid size contract (Armia, Hoffman, etc) and a pick to, to clear up cap space
I like his type of player and he is a good solution when motivated as a fringe 2C with good players driving his line but I don‘t see any team being able to absord the contract of Dvorak and Hoffman (maybe ARI would but I think they want to keep their cap space to get picks back)

Marty, I love what you've done so far and your way of thinking. But, get Monahan some f***** help! Time for promote Slaf with 91. I would have Andy too, but he's getting suspended a few games probably.
Why would Andy get suspended? Whenever the Habs have been on the receiving end of similar hits, no one ever gets suspended.

Plus, Pietrangelo turned his shoulders as Anderson had committed to the hit and was being carried forward by his momentum. Also, it was just happenstance that the hit took place in an area where there was no glass, which would have made it look less impactful than it did.

He gives up the puck in offensive zone every time. He absolutely kills offense. He's terrible, and we're buying him out next summer.

He's done don't kid yourself. He has absolutely no interest in bettering himself or it would have happened by now.

He's in his 30s now, and his shot is no longer the threat is used to be.

I think it's more likely that he's done than to believe he has a renaissance left in him.
I know he looks awful out there but he's not even getting the looks to actually get a shot on the net right now.

We lack good passers/playmakers on this team and it's so evident.

Now that Dach is on the first line and he was one of the guys that could actually make a decent pass out there, the entire bottom six is filled with guys that can't make a play to save their life...

He was wide open and missed the net from the slot when we pulled Allen. He then proceeded to single handedly give the puck away trying to do god knows what?

Yeah you'd have to target a rebuilding team like the Blackhawks next year, probably take back an expiring contract and give them a 2nd. Think of the type of deal that Winnipeg had with the Habs that had Armia this way

I absolutely loved the reaction by the three Vegas players who stormed toward Anderson immediately following his hit on Pietrangelo.

You can debate how dirty the hit was but Pietrangelo’s teammates sticking up for him like they did, is not something we have on any given shift.

We need that wolfpack mentality.

Well as I said, he's playing with no confidence.

If you watch Cole Suzy and Dach play you just can see the confidence in their play, they think they can get out there and score a goal every shift.

The biggest change is Cole, he's handling the puck a lot more now than he was doing before.

Love the swag of that line...

Hopefully MSL manages to put together at least another line that can help...

I just said this a few games ago when Slaf was hit. Jake was the guy who had to answer the bell when our resident tough guy observed.

Vegas reacted appropriately, Habs didn’t.
