Matheson is not “awful”, he’s simply playing above his pay grade. Should be playing 2nd pair TOI - options just aren’t there at present to allow for it

I'm already tired of this version of the team. Just make Dach come back with some magic and send Slaf/Anderson elsewhere and i would be way less tired.

They have Will Smith who's had a strong showing so far in the NCAA and they're practically a lock to get either Celebrini/Eiserman this draft.
That alone is a better young forward core than everything the Habs have right now.
