Are we tanking?

I don't think that's the plan (if we understand ranking as purposely weakening the roster to optimize for a lower seed)...

But many around certainly want us to. Odd that some of them are the most upset every time we lose ❓

Some may think that we deserved the win, that Markstrom stole the game. I say we royally sucked.

Our forwards as a whole totally suck. The passing is so f***ing bad. Passes are always a few inches off. Just enough to screw most of our attempts.

This rebuild will need so many resets.

I think I need a break. I wanted to throw the remote on my tv tonight.
So frustrating to watch.

lol so now Lindstrom has more goals than Anderson?! That’s awesome.

I can so relate. Watching this team is unhealthy.

Then why are you talking about tanking? If the team is not tanking?

When your team isn't very talented it allows opposing teams to focus on Cole Caufield. He needs help.
The lack of talent up front was so obvious tonight. IMO we missed 98% of our passes. I'm not saying we missed the recipient all the time but passes were always a few inches off target. This really got me.

Btw, Slaf with another great game. Why they moved him down is beyond me. I sincerely hope they put things back next match.

I don't care if we lose the next ten games in a row. Development of our younger players is what matters right now. They need to stop f***ing around with him.
Totally, his usage has been frustrating to say the least, MSL wasnt effraid to play Caufield alot when he came in and played well, would be nice he does the same with Slaf that he did with his spiritual son...

Matheson's struggles continue in his own end. Nice set up for the GWG. I'm not sure why he continues to try the soft play along the boards when he gets pinched? Fire the puck like Guhle Mike.

Sure Burrows/St-louis. Put 2 of your least skilled players Anderson and Gallagher on that 6 on 4.

Very clever man

Hopefully it was just an in-game transition.

Slaf has looked really good lately. CC needs to start potting his passes.

Yeah Nick threads his passes tape to tape to everyone but Caufield.
Maybe Caufield is too small and Suzuki can't see him properly? :sarcasm:

I actually remember Nick missing a few other teammates in previous games. But since they have been split, I feel like Suzuki has been playing way better and passing way better. I'm not sure why MSL reunited them late in the 3rd. Caufield was being feed by Slaf/Dvorak all game.

Also, Anderson needs to be traded or get way less TOI and no PP time or just reunite him with RHP on the 4th line while Ylonen gets a promotion. It's not even his lack of scoring I have issue with, it's him trying to be a finesse player with the puck and losing it all the time.

Bad passing killed our speed and caused a number of offsides.

I'd like a Barron and or a Guhle in on that action. It makes zero sense not to have two Dmen on at that point Guys who know how to seal the boards and are used to pinching. Forwards back there inevitably find themselves out of position.

Matheson was not on the ice for any of CGY official goals tonight
He was on the ice only for CGY's 3rd goal that was called off

Top PP would be nice too, just saying... He gets crumbs on that 2nd wave, like 30-35 secs, you cant expect him to do much, especially with Gallagher and cie.
I mean, he’s doing pretty good anyway even with the players on PP2 but like you said it’s for 20-30 secondes that’s not enough. MSL really should start giving him PP1.

Or MSL could just alternate his PPs instead of trying to milk as many minutes as possible with the first units.

After 16 games
2 regulation wins
1 5vs5 goal for CC
No goal for Anderson
2 games for Dach :(

Those are atrocious stats.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Josh Anderson develop.

The kid has so much potential. He is cornerstone piece of the franchise

You just wait, at 28 he is just getting his feet wet. Wait til he hits his stride at 34
