Since Habs clearly are going nowhere, I think another complete clean house is in order. Everyone. Coaches. Mngt. It isn't going in the right direction. These coaches are NOT teaching these kids anything. They are NOT able to get vets to put any kind of effort. They are not setting any good examples and instilling hard work habits.

Management is just continuing what previous managaement did - passing on any kind of talent that comes along.

There will be zero negative impact if Habs completely clean house now. It is beyond frustrating to watch whatever that team is.
If Molson cleans house now he might as well sell the team. There will be NO fans.

Uh, no.

Burrows can go but… the PP is starting to improve.

The team is bad. It was expected to be bad and it is. Welcome to rebuilding. You asked for it, now accept what it is.

Well at the eyes test he’s terrible recently. Loosing pucks, fumbling pass receptions, etc. Weak along the boards.
Don’t agree, his complete game is better this year and proof is that he shoots even more on net this year, just unlucky with goals as of now.

???? Coming off a great game with a season high seven shots.

He did muff some plays tonight but created some chances and hit a post.

Sucks that he doesn’t have a goal in five but he’s playing well.

I think he’s muffing a lot of plays recently and along the boards it’s a failed everytime.

Maybe, just maybe, they were forced to have the current vets. Armia, Dvorak, Gallagher, Evans, Savard, Anderson, etc. All MB players that the current management hasn't either moved yet/ haven't been able to move yet. The only vets with their signature on it are Monahan and Pearson. Matheson too but that was a one for one trade essentially and I don't think anyone here would rather Petry right now

That's pretty much half your team. And the team is so disjointed that some players can't really thrive under these conditions. Young defencemen take a while before they're good defensively. Who knew. Hughes and Gorton have been in Montreal for less than 2 years, taking over the worst team in hockey. What are you expecting? Yes, they need to get better but don't pretend like every game has been them not putting in any effort. They're obviously outmatched and it shows.

Pp is pathetic
It is pathetic. I've pointed out that if Habs had a league average PP year round, they'd probably be in or close to a wildcard spot. Fortunately this year is another wash so the PP sucking is kind of advantageous. And maybe the PP is lacking cause the talent level on it isn't as good as other teams. That's probably the beste explanation

He is soft and weak at this early stage of his career. He needs to play aggressively and angry,Maybe that's not his personality. Size is just a statistic if you play small, soft and and weak
He’s a finesse player in a banger’s body.

As much as I can’t stand burrows he has done way better with the power play. If Matheson can hold the puck in they’d be even better. Now the penalty kill…..
