I paid pretty close attention to Slaf during this game and you could see glimpses of his skillset but his compete level is quite abysmal out there right now. He needs to start moving his feet and to stop gliding around doing f all. Plus for a guy his size he plays a very soft game and shies away from far too many potential board battles, which he should excel at due to his size.

It really is gonna be a very long process with A LOT of much needed patience with this player yet and for the Habs sake they really do need him to eventually get there because they really need this guy to pan out for them big time. Hopefully he can get there.

This is the kinda loss they will say " we made it a close game so we just gotta start quicker next time" when in reality they got rag-dolled the whole game til Bolts took off the pedal

Terrible game overall. Our best players are really a let-down atm. Guhle's been struggling, as well as Caulfield and Suzuki.
Normal, they are still young.

Frankly, I was expecting this. First game after the road trip, back home with the chicks and or the kids, poontang, and juste relaxing a bit (photo opp yesterday)…This happens. And not the first time.

Plus, it’s a terribly young defensive corps. VERY young. Not a lot of vet support there. Things started to unwind when Savard went down. Might be slow and shit, he’s a calming presence for the pups. Now, they all try to do too much and run amok like they are panicking.

It's just the beginning of it really... unless we get really lucky this is going to take several years
Several years doing what? Yes they need another top line talent, that's obvious everyone agrees. Add in Dach to this lineup and it looks very different. They also need an elite goalie. Besides that, they have all the pieces, some of which are still prospects like Reinbacher and Hutson, etc. They basically just need development. Your core can't be average age 22-23 and expect to be competitive. They need time to grow but several years is hyperbolic

If Mike Matheson has a million haters, then I am one of them. If Mike Matheson has ten haters, then I am one of them. If Mike Matheson has only one hater then that is me. If Mike Matheson has no haters, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against hating Mike Matheson, then I am against the world.

Some of these pups have Been going now for their third season
Matheson is a vet how come he doesn't calm things down?

Got to have goals-- scoring when it's over isn't counted

He is soft and weak at this early stage of his career. He needs to play aggressively and angry,Maybe that's not his personality. Size is just a statistic if you play small, soft and and weak

Since Habs clearly are going nowhere, I think another complete clean house is in order. Everyone. Coaches. Mngt. It isn't going in the right direction. These coaches are NOT teaching these kids anything. They are NOT able to get vets to put any kind of effort. They are not setting any good examples and instilling hard work habits.

Management is just continuing what previous managaement did - passing on any kind of talent that comes along.

There will be zero negative impact if Habs completely clean house now. It is beyond frustrating to watch whatever that team is.

Three seasons is nothing when they start at 18-19-20.

Dach, another top line talent, Roy, etc is enough. You don't need to have a Toronto offence. Vegas has like 2 PPG players and the conn symthe winner that can't regularly crack 65 pts.
