Glad our identity is « fast paced offensive team that doesn’t get pushed around » otherwise it could have been bad

More seriously the special teams (esp PP) are bad and not improving and that’s on the coaching staff

At what point do we start to worry about Caufield and Suzuki?
I’ve been worrying about them since after the cup run. They show a complete lack of high end skills apart from potential to be great. They gotta put it together.

Only send down the ones who play with an edge...gotta make the roster softer

Pezzetta’s fight showed what he is: a guy with a lot of heart and good locker room presence but not someone to watch out for when he’s on the ice (including hits).

Honestly, at this point, not much more is excepted from this team, the injuries made sure of that. After the first line, the talent drop off is pretty steep, and the D still can't handle pressure well.

Slaf - Suzuki - Caufield - Guhle - Struble - Barron is the only reason to watch this team. If the 1st line isn't getting on the scoreboard they won't win.

Caufield had a nice tear going but it’s a little concerning that a pure goal scorer is having a streak like this after a shoulder surgery. Hopefully that’s coincidence.

Don't worry, Kent told Suzuki and Cole to just take it easy this year as we need to draft a little higher...

He's a complementary player at best. How in the world hockey fans can think a player with a midget body can dominate in a sport played by 6'5" players who also have skills?

Suzuki is what he is, a very good 2nd line centre. Caufield will need to be properly surrounded 5 on 5 and will always shine more on PP, 3 on 3 ect.

Suzuki
"They have a good system and they practice it every day"

Is this a shot at MSL and his concepts ?
