As much as we are praising Evans Heineman continues to impress with his game and is a big part of that line's production.
I think his IQ is a tad bit higher than he was given credit for. Just the one over pursuit that he messed up on the Harris goal.
I'm not sure if that is bad instinct or we are instructed to suck back so far.

He is literally Robidas's Desharnais. He is obsessed with playing him as much as possible in all situations. It's baffling.

Getting Carrier means we have another vet to play (and a defensively sound one at that) yet Matheson was still out there for the key PK in the third. Still played over 26 minutes. In no world should Mike Matheson see the ice that much in a close game.
Matheson skates effortlessly. His shot is wicked. He’s a pretty big guy and seems like he has good intention. But players like Marchenko wake up every morning to embarrass players like him. They need to use him more efficiently.

He has million dollar legs and a 10 cent head. Nathan Beaulieu was the same way. Petry (ironically enough, the guy we traded for him) could be that way as well when he was playing too much.

He makes the wrong play 9/10 times. Whatever the simple play is, he does the opposite. Sometimes this can be good and leads to offense (happened a lot last year). This year, it more likely than not ends up in our net.

Even if thats true, and i dont dispute it

No reason Guhle couldnt take 4 min from Matheson
Oh I know it makes no sense given our recent schedule.
Hutson looked tired as well he could have been spelled a bit IMO the time off will do him some good.
No backup goaltender and the lack of depth shows up big time when you play three in four.
That stretch at the end of the month is going to be HELL.

No one cares
Habs could’ve used that one. A tough stretch of games coming up now.’
We need a backup goalie and some help at center on the second line. It all depends on their plans for the rest of the season.

If they are planning on leaving Dach in the role it will be a tough stretch because he isn't doing well. If they don't make a trade they should look at moving Evans up, he's hot right now and maybe Heineman as well.

I love Mike but his blunders seem to come as effortlessly as his skating at times. :help:

A perfect example how still bad this team is. Anyone who plays them remotely tough and tight, Habs will lose... even if it's Columbus.

Dach has to be the most useless player that ever wore the Habs uniform... Not scoring on that chance in the middle of the third is absolutely undescribable. Newhook, as always did absolute sweet f*** all.

First line was ok until Suzuki had to start to double-shift for Laine.

But anyway... regardless who what where... this team can't play tough tight checking hockey... They may look like they will keep it close, but they will not win.

Well... welcome to the xmas trip and buckle up... it won't be pretty.

So f***ing pissed.

No one in the top 6 is having a good season. Most except for CC are having ass seasons by their standards. Fight me stat watchers.
Geeezz... just imagine if Suzuki could play better and carry this team into daa mix by himself... ppg is not enough, he'll need to be a 100 points player. If only he could be less lazy... lazy Suzuki is just a mediocre 80 points player, ship his ass out of here please KH and give more ice time to Kirby Dach and Dvorak :D

Definitely need a backup goalie. I think they’re looking at centers to. No rush though, we’re not a playoff team.
