GDT: Habs @ Leafs - 7pm

Things I'm watching:

- Matt Murray. Is this our starter?
- Malgin. Can he build on last game and steal a roster spot
- Robertson. Is he gonna take that step. Is he going to outdue Malgin for the spot of small skilled winger in the top 9
- Steeves, McMann, Anderson. How ready are these guys? Who wants it more?
- Douglas. Do we have a diamond in the rough here? Does he use his size tonight

Good list. Mine was more lame but I agree on all that.

Should be fun. Both teams look to be playing the show me what you got lineups.

Really rooting for Robertson. Been a big fan for a long time. He has to battle out there and stay on his skates.
 
Why did Stewart say everyone is waiting to write Murray off? There's probably a few out there but most Leafs fans are hoping he succeeds. If he fails, the team fails.
 
Team canada vs russia 72 was the greatest hockey series I ever witnessed.
Watching it in the school gym nassium.

I am wondering how Benn looks. He is being played like Keefe played Bush. Can he provide some physicality because if he can he will make the opening night roster on paper, likely sits but he is our #7 until injuries clear up. And if they don't he is up all season rotating in and out.

I've heard he's terrible but I want to see what he can do there

What a series that was. Wasn't alive then but I've watched some shows on it. It was really something back then to be going Russia/USSR.

That'd be cool to have cheaper pre season tickets and see this tonight.

The pre season games being packed unfortunately highlight the lack of access for normal fans in the regular season. Every candian team besides the sens somewhat does the same
